Hatch sandwiches and burgers have great options for both chicken and beef. They also have some great appetizers including a variety of fries, chicken bites and jalapeno fritters. We definitely recommend the Dynamite Chicken Bites and the El Diablo burger.

The Food:

We tried out one chicken sandwich and one Wagyu patty burger along with two appetizers.

Loaded Fries: Their loaded fries are a step up from the usual. These are fries topped with a cheese sauce, bacon bits, spicy jalapeño sauce, smoked chili mayo sauce. And the best bit: jalapeño tempura slices!

Dynamite Chicken Bites: These delicious deep fried buttermilk chicken bites had a great crunch. Even though they’re doused with a tangy dynamite sauce and spring onions.

El Diablo: This is one of their chicken sandwich options. It included buttermilk fried chicken with a jalapeño dressing, lettuce, pickles, jalapeño tempura slices and a spicy bbq sauce. The chicken was really well cooked. Quite a hearty sandwich overall.

Gulliver’s Truffle: This burger was such a treat! We are fans of chicken burgers but the idea of a mushroom burger was appealing. As hinted in the name, this smoked Wagyu patty has white truffle oil included. Along with Emmental cheese, sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions. Definitely recommended.

The Hatch sandwiches and burgers have fun, quirky names hinting at key ingredients that are in them. We liked that the menu isn’t super extensive but still has enough options to choose from.

Overall the food was great but we were a bit disappointed with the pricing as most of the appetizers were almost the same price as the sandwiches and burgers.
