October is upon us already (how has this year passed by so quickly!?) and there’s so much to look forward to! Let’s get it started with the world’s largest volksfest which we can thank the Germans for: Oktoberfest! Held annually and started up in Bavaria, it’s an almost-3-weeks folk festival that involves donning on dirndl and lederhosen, sampling traditional favourites such as Brezen, Würstl and Käsespätzle and let’s not forget about the German hops! Take a look at some of the places and events here in Dubai where you can experience some Deutsch themed good times.
This well known German establishment will have a live band and traditional favourites featured with an a la carte menu on weekdays and buffet packages on Thursday and Friday. German guest chef J. Hellner from Hofbräuhaus Munich will be running the show from 23-29 October.
