Dubai’s ultimate food festival, Taste of Dubai once again enhances the guest experience with innovative, sustainable, collaboration.
The much-anticipated Taste of Dubai in Partnership with Philips is only a few weeks away. And is ready to impress foodies, families and friends alike with its best restaurant line-up in Taste history. But organisers haven’t stopped there, as a the new ‘Taste of Hilton’ experience will launch at the February 3-5 event.
Being dubbed the “foodie festival within a foodie festival”, this new experience will be a sustainability showcase offering exciting eco-conscious food and drink demonstrations.
Working with the very best farm fresh local produce supplied by UAE agritech platform and local catalyst, Fresh on Table. Chefs and Mixologists from Hilton’s UAE 30 strong hotel portfolio will invite guests to meet local farmers. And watch as they create delicious farm-to-plate dishes and drinks in an eco-conscious way. These sustainable tasters will be offered free, on a first come first served basis, to those who purchase a drink from the dedicated bar.
In addition, local women-owned startup, The Waste Lab will be present. They will ensure that all compostable food and drink waste produced by the Taste of Hilton experience will be properly segregated at source, collected and then composted.
Attendees can also expect live music and to have their picture taken by one of the Hilton ‘Waitographers’ who will be on-hand to capture those all-important festival moments.
The cooking talent for this year’s event is astounding. And the list keeps growing. Here’s who’s just signed up to be part of this long-awaited festival:
JENNY MORRIS
Jenny Morris, also known as The Giggling Gourmet, is a celebrity chef and radio personality from South Africa. She has starred in four series on Food Network with new series commissioned for 2019 & 2020.
Chef Morris has become a household name among audiences in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She also broadcasts a weekly show on Heart Radio Breakfast show one of the largest Radio Stations in South Africa.
RUSSELL IMPIAZZI
With over twenty-five years of culinary experience, Russell Impiazzi joined Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk as the Executive Chef since December 2020. His mission was to establish a new hub of restaurant and bars in the city through genuine, seasonal, sustainable food, beverage and service experiences.
As Executive Chef, he is in charge of all culinary operations across five distinctive dining outlets – Brasserie Boulud, Taiko Dubai, The Nine Gastropub, Bijou Patisserie and Soleil Pool & Lounge.

The festival venue – Dubai Media City Amphitheatre – will bring together an expected 15,000 foodies, friends, and families. A great venue to enjoy three days of culinary festivity and live entertainment. You can expect 15 of the very best restaurants in the region, world-famous chefs, as well some of the hottest up-and-coming culinary talent.
Timings for the weekend are:
Friday 3rd Feb from 3pm to 12am;
Saturday 4th Feb from 12pm- 12am;
Sunday 5th Feb from 12pm-10pm.
Food can be bought from all restaurants at the festival via debit/credit card and Tappit.
